WHY SHYRA AND MANAGEMENT ARE UNPROFESSIONAL

Horrible customer service! I've got almost black hair. Shyra turned my hair orange instead of blonde. She had an unlicensed receptionist (per Shyra the receptionist hadn't started beauty school yet but was planning to) mix my hair color in the back unsupervised and also had the unlicensed receptionist blow dry and straighten my hair, I am in the works of reporting this to the WA state board. I told Shyra right away I thought my hair looked orange so she offered to darken it. I declined that offer because I wanted blonde hair. Later I emailed her with my before and after pic as she requested and I also added in the email I wanted my hair more blonde and I pointed out what I thought was missing. Well I never got an email back or a phone call I sent the email Monday and called Thursday and still never got a call from her or even a manager. Friday I called again and was told by Mike (a partner of the owner) that Shyra was offended by my email and they were gonna refund me an I am to go somewhere else. Not even the manger of this salon cared to show any concern for my hair being this way. I've spoken with a professional hairstylist at Gary Manuel salon (salon is rated # 1 in WA on king 5) said that my hair can not get that blonde with out frying it so I would need 2 applications and that Shyra should have informed me of this in the beginning. What kind of stylist is ok with letting a potential lifetime customer walk away unhappy then gets offended when told the customer is not satisfied? She's fake for smiling in my face and then getting mad when I'm Unsatisfied. I will never recommend this salon due to lack of respect to paying customers and unprofessional communication. I would have loved to have her fix my hair but instead Shyra and the manager/owner treated me like a lost cause instead of a friend/customer. It's very hurtful and I can say I've never had this experience in the world of customer service. I cant believe the lack of concern I am getting from this company that claims to be so great. I hope this post is helpful to Shyra as she is still very young and only 4 yrs experience. *Also while I was there the only person who would flash a smile was a man who I think was a manager? He would smile at me if we made eye contact yet all other employees looked awkward like they had to keep there mouths shut, I would even notice stares due to my mixed hair being so thick and beautiful, yet the stares were not followed by smiles, the stylists would just look away if they were caught staring. I totally felt out of place and not very welcomed there. This message can be a lesson or a blessing depending on the reader.P.S. Kids in high school often have confrontation issues due to lack of communication skills they have yet to obtain in their adulthood. Shyra got offended immediately by my email instead of calling me to talk about it and offer to fix it or could make things better. If she would have called me her misinterpretation of my email when have been resolved. Getting offended with out even emailing me back or calling me is lack of communication and Shyra suffers from this, leading her to be safely labeled as immature. People of this nature often have trouble in relationships rather in love, family or friendship. *Good employees come from great management. Its starts from the top and bad employees usually means uncaring management. *Just a tip*By the way it seems there was a lot of changes made within this salon over the last few years and this being there most recent post says a lot about how they are operating today.Sorry this is so long :(
