My husband has been taking our vehicles to Jim's for more than 15 years. However, my experience in May was so disappointing that we will never be going back. They misdiagnosed my truck and replaced the fuel injectors (even though the computer diagnostic report indicated that the injectors weren't damaged). They originally charged me $4,000 for replacing them even though the problem wasn't fixed, and they weren't damaged. After some heated discussions, they agreed to charge us for the parts only (still 2,900 something). Needless to say, I'm disgusted by their recklessness with my money and the lack of respect for our long term service with them. I would have expected them to be more apologetic and willing to eat the cost since it was clear that the injectors were not the problem. They didn't even offer and got upset when my husband complained about not wanting to pay the full cost. Truthfully, my husband is much more cordial than me, as I plan to send a demand letter in the morning asking for return of the full payment. This experience was extremely disappointing and I do not recommend that anyone use their services. Customers expect businesses to "show up" when it counts. And when they don't, they lose loyal customers. If they had been honorable in their resolution of this, I would have continued to sing their praises (as I have done for the past 15+ years). The only thing is, I hadn't had to deal with anything complex with them up to this point, so I didn't have an opportunity to know better. Shari
