Sun Pacific Shippers is part of Sun Pacific, growers that produce several varieties of table grapes. The company is a major supplier of premium oranges, tomatoes, Clementines, Minneola tangelos and kiwi. Sun Pacific began farming citrus in 1969 with the purchase of 72 acres of oranges in Exeter, Calif. Sun Pacific has grown to farm more than 6,500 acres of citrus, 3,000 acres of table grapes and 2,500 acres of fresh market tomatoes. All farming is located in the California's San Joaquin Valley. Sun Pacific has expanded its packing facilities from the original citrus plant in Exeter to citrus plants in Bakersfield and Woodlake. Sun Pacific grows, packs and sells more than 7 million cartons of Navels and Valencias, 3 million cartons of tomatoes and 2 million lugs of Thompson, Flame, Ruby and Red Globe table grapes. In total, Sun Pacific grows, packs and markets more than 12 million boxes of fruit.
