AGC Chemicals Americas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Glass, a multinational corporation engaged in the manufacture of glass, electronic displays and chemical products. The company produces and markets high-quality fluoroproducts, including Fluon fluoropolymer resins and compounds and Asahiklin fluorinated solvents. It also markets Lumiflon fluoropolymer coatings, Asahi Guard water and oil repellants, F-Clean greenhouse films, Pictorico Inkjet Media, Sunsphere fine silica additives and various fluorointermediates. AGC Chemicals Americas was formed in January 2004 as the result of a merger between Asahi Glass Fluoropolymers USA and AGA Chemicals. The company maintains sales offices and warehouses throughout North America. It is headquartered in Bayonne, N.J.
