We signed up for a learn how to skate class - over $130! When we tried to tie the laces, the skates were so stiff that they would not tie up correctly. The person that works there told me that the skates are stiff because they are new. He tried to tighten them up but he couldn't. The skates felt so loose around his ankles, like wearing a loose boot. He told me the skates need to be worn in. I did not want for my son to fall and break his ankle, I asked them if I could use older skates, they told me that the older skates are worn out and somewhat broken and that is the reason they game me the new skates. I did not wan't my son on old broken skates, so we left. It felt like they did not care if the skates properly fit on my son's feet. . Also while he was there receiving the lesson, the instructor told my son since he is the oldest of the group he will need to remember all the kids names. Very rude people. Would not give me refund even so I only used about 10 min on the ice.

Love the open skates on Friday and Saturday!! Super fun for the family all year long!!
