In a pinch, Sal helped my son out for lunch, it's good when Small Business extend kindness, it always comes back in the End.

We walked into Sal’s in Lionville to pickup a phone order -- only to find the owner (Sal) beet-red-faced and yelling at an employee.



Sal turned to us, absolutely upset and acted completely rude; turning his all of his aggression towards us.





We were shocked at the display and amazed that this was how a customer (not to mention an employee) would be treated,

especially given the local economy which has to be hurting take-out business.



We were completely uncomfortable in this situation, and after paying for our order, could not get out of the establishment fast enough.



We Will Not be going to Sals again.

I've been going to Sal's for the past 10 years. It's a family owned business and I've seen their son and daughter grow up over the years. Their food is homemade and their sauces are delicious. Sometimes I just run over there from work and get a slice of pizza for lunch or go there for dinner and enjoy a full course meal. I've used their catering service and have always received compliments on the food. It's a great place to go to if you're not looking for the typical 'franchise' restaurant where quantity is more important than quality. It's nice to go to a restaurant where they know your name and treat you like family. It's located in the Lionville Shopping Center at the intersection of Eagleview Blvd. and Rt. 113,
