Provided by YP.comDon't count on this florist for delivery on a busy holiday such as Valentine's Day. I completely regret recommending Cliff Garden to a relative. Flowers were ordered a week in advance and were to be delivered to a Fair Lawn business. The business closed at 5:00 PM and the flowers had not been delivered. Now the credit card dispute process must begin as well as work to save a relationship.

Provided by YP.comWorst Experience EVER! Terrible service and unreliable. Ordered flowers, they were never delivered. When I called to complain, I was told it was a problem with 1-800-Flowers, due to a misconnection, and it was NOT the shop's problem so I need to take it up with the third party. This statement was proved to be entirely untrue, considering the shop not only called me the day before to confirm but also CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD DIRECTLY. I did not receive a call from a third party, nor did a third party charge my card. They owner clearly lied and is now refusing to do anything about the issue, stating it is "not his problem". DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. I am currently filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

Provided by YP.comWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My husband went on a business trip which meant he would be away for V-day so he searched on the web and came across CLIFF GARDEN FLORIST to order me flowers to be delivered on Vday (as a SURPRISE). Not aware of any of this, I get a call 2 days before Vday, asking for my husband. I tell them that I am his wife but I will take a message for him. they tell me "your husband ordered flowers to be delivered on Vday but we cannot accept his order because the flowers he picked are too expensive". Im still in shock because I just found out that he was planning this so I tell the guy "oh, I'm sorry, I wasnt aware of this.. it must've been a surprise for me.." and he has the audacity to say "so what you wanna do?". No apologies no nothing. So I told him that he is extremely rude and unprofessional and demanded to know why he had to call the recipient of the flowers to tell her this? isn't it the normal course of business to contact the person that placed the order? then I demanded them to explain "flowers are too expensive". Did he not pay for the flowers? what was this, name your cost website that he purchased from?? I am pretty certain he went on their website and selected the flowers that were displayed, and paid with his credit card, for the amount stated on their site... so WTH is flowers are too expensive? I demanded an answer for ruining my valentines day. he said hold on and put the owner on. A lady comes on and explains the whole situation saying that the flowers that were displayed were not available (or a bit more expensive during this season) and the place that he wanted to deliver to (my work place) was too far so she thought it would be better to cancel. So I asked her in what mindset she thought it would be ok to call the recipient of the gift to cancel? She said she apologies and will take care of this right away. Never heard from them again- they just emailed my husband after our convo saying they are canceling the order. Vday came and went and no flowers. not even substitute flowers. no apologies. no reasons.
This is my husband's and I's first Vday together after we got married few months ago. On top of that, I am pregnant with our first child and it broke my husband's heart that he couldnt be with me during our first Vday. Which is why he went on and ordered me the most expensive flowers and added chocolates as extras (because I am craving sweets lately) because he wanted me to smile. I know the florist would never have known our situation but.. I'm thinking.. anyone that wants to send flowers.. is because it is a special occasion. They dont have to know what each of the occasion is, but they really should know that it is NOT ok to mess it up and not have any backlash. Next time you want to put your special occasion into the Cliff Garden Florist- think about my situation and go ahead if you can afford to have them mess up the special day for you.
