Provided by YP.comTheir sauce is unique, but it has changed since they moved from the old location; the sauce is a little different; I'd love to have the original recipe, but it seems that's not happening. I was first taken to the old location by my dad and mom, Thomas and Mina Lowe around 1964 when it was across from Duffy's tavern in Paterson NJ; New Jersey wiener sauce? Chili sauces, whatever they are can't compare! But now, it's different. I still like them, but my dad, a chili dog connaisseur, doesn't like them anymore; he prefers Libby's in Clifton; Fat Mikes Red Hots on Rte. 17 South was pretty good too, but the packed up shop a long time ago. Any body have the original recipe? If you do, e-mail me at: [email protected]. It's a shame someone gave them a bad rating. I was going there a lot when I was a kid; what happened? That's what happens when new owners take over; like what happens in the movie Ratatouille when Gusteau died and Skinner starts making a lot more money for the restaurant by selling burritos in supermarkets pre-packaged. This is a mad world; to bad things change for the worse I guess, because I haven't been there for 4 years. I hope one of the original owners buys the place back; there's a certain amount of pride that goes into a product when it'as a family business. I bet they're kicking themselves in the rump for selling it. Stories like this break my heart. My rating above reflects what I thought of them when they were in Paterson under the old original owners.
