Founded in 1967, Fairbanks Native Association is a nonprofit organization serving as a powerful and influential Native American voice in the state of Alaska. Over the years, the organization has changed public policies that were discriminatory to native people and its programs have helped countless people find new jobs, maintain sobriety, celebrate their culture, and receive an education. Fairbanks Native Association's Ralph Perdue Center and the Women and Children's Center for Inner Healing conduct adult and youth behavioral health services programs. Some of its educational programs include Head Start, Early Head Start and Parent As Teachers. Additionally, Fairbanks Native Association also runs a Fairbanks Alcohol Safety Action Program (FASAP) and offers other community services.
