The Fairburn Police Department works to provide law enforcement services and maintains law and order. It is comprised of uniform patrol and criminal investigation divisions. The Fairburn Police Department maintains a support services division that handles logistics, court services, training and recruitments, maintains police records, as well as analyses crime and facility management. It conducts neighborhood and business watch programs. The department also operates a communication center that responds to various emergency and nonemergency calls.
