Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, founded in 1946, is an international nonprofit association providing global security solutions by maintaining a relationship with civil government agencies, the military, and the IT industry. Its intelligence committee develops various strategies and its membership committee develops strategies for membership growth and retention. It has a technical committee to enhance its outreach to the IT community and build partnerships between governmental and industrial sectors. It offers a wide range of certification courses and publications to its members and organizes award programs. Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association has more than 31,000 members and is located in Fairfax, Va.
