Provided by YP.comI have heard phenomenal things about this eatery from fellow Memphians' (as friends have advised that I stop by JJ's Wings while on my frequent trips from Memphis to Atlanta ). I must say, when people 200+ miles away from a place are raving about it it must REALLY be good! Anyhow, I tried JJ's recently and absolutely adored it; indescribably delicious is all I can say ;). I was waited on -at the walk up- by a gentleman whom I believe to been the the owner of the establishment. Not only did I get impeccable service and budget friendly prices, but I got off the chain finger licking good food!!!! Anyone, in Birmingham, in route to or passing through PLEASE try this place as it embodies casual dining at it's absolute finest...

Provided by YP.comI'm from Lawrenceville, GA (Metro Atlanta, GA) and I first heard about JJ Wings from a friend of mine, he talk about JJ’s outstanding fast foods, saying that everything they sold was good. I again, while on business in Birmingham, AL, heard some people talk about how good JJ's chicken and fish were. Well, I was getting sort of hungry and had a bit of time on my hand so I drove the additional 8 miles to try out some of the "good old" food I've been hearing about. We'll, I drove up to this little modest building with the etchings of JJ Wings written on a sign posted outside. I placed my order from this very kind lady at the order window and picked up my "hot" order at the next window. I wasn't expecting a service to be so professional but I can tell you it really was. My order was explained to me, showing me each item to include my sides and utensils. Now, I got into my car popped my straw into the cup of peach tea I'd ordered. I took a sip of that tea, put my car back into Park, got out of the car proceeding to the window and ask the manager for a much larger order of peach tea, he upgraded my tea for free. That was the best tea I've tasted. In my order was a 10 piece "lemon pepper" with dressing, celery, carrots, and hot French fries. Wow, this was one time I can say I was definitely lead in the right direction. Those lemon pepper wings was seasoned to the tee, cooked to the bone and had meat on them that satisfied my 6''7" 300 pound frame. I can't say that I can't wait to get back to Birmingham but I will say that I won't leave Birmingham without stopping by JJ's Wings.
I'll tell you like my friend told me "don't take my word for it you tell me".
