Been there many times

I've been getting the ribs there for a few years. They have always been tender and flavorful. Since I go mainly for the ribs, but the brisket is also very good. They offer a variety of different bbq sauces. I always get the mild. As for the sides, I've only gotten the beans, or French fries for my sides. They are one of my favorite places to get fries from.

Best Bar B Q In Town

The last reviewer must have visited the wrong place or had a bad day. This is the best bar be cue in town. They have the best ribs that are grilled out over coals and you can smell it a mile away. The meat is tender and delicious. The links are great as well, and the sauce is the best I've had in Fairfield/Vacaville, California. Their catfish and chicken is very good also. It is worth the wait and visit and the food is much better than Coyote Sams.

The decor is not the greatest, perhaps because they put more money into making their food delicious than decorating the walls, but the decor is still not so bad.

Coyote Sam's is better.

CJ's started off bad. When I walked into the place I had to stand there for about 5 minutes before anyone even noticed I was there. Even thought I was right at the cash register. Finally I was asked I had been helped. I placed the order for my husband to pick up later after work at Travis. When food got home: ribs were tough, sauce was so hot it took away from the beef and hot links which were the better of the meats. Pasta salad had a very off taste. Neither one of us liked it. Greens were watery and no where near as good as the ones we had gotten from Coyote Sam's. Baked beans were okay. Cole slaw was alright too. Had ordered cornbread but husband said they ran out so we got hush puppies. The hush puppies ended up being the best part of the meal. Had high hopes but was VERY disappointed. Would never go back to CJ's again. I'll stick with Coyote Sam's instead.
