The California Highway Patrol is a full-service state agency that provides safety and security services to the residents of California. The California Highway Patrol s officers are responsible for for the investigation and disposalof car accidents, debris, dead animals and other impediments to the free flow of traffic. The department also summons paramedics and tow truck drivers. The California Highway Patrol maintains an office in Fairfield, Calif.
