Purchased vehicle on 01/08. Given the vehicle has a 30 day/1000 warranty I drove the vehicle until 02/04, knowing that the warranty was near expiration I, as is my custom in purchasing vehicles, had an inspection done by Les Schwab (for suspension) and Geneaposs Auto Repair (for the whole vehicle). I brought the findings of the inspections to Rent A Wreck on 02/04/13. The manager said they would look at the vehicle and quotdecide what we will and wonapost fixquot according to him. I brought the vehicle in on 02/05/13 at 1pm and was called at 2:30pm stating that they had gone through the list and no repairs were found to be needed. Repairs that needed to be done were: -The struts are weak - Seepage at valve cover amp oil pan - Transmission fluid low - Leak at the tran pan gasket - Rear brake rotors below specs - Rear tran mount weak/cracking - Battery tested low Company refused to provide anything in writing stating that anything was checked furthermore refused to provide any assurances for the vehicle beyond the 30 day / 1000 warranty. The repairs will be costly over $2,800 according to the 2 inspections I received. Company refused to fix items. I now have the car paid off and now have to save to fix all the problems THEY never fixed.
