Provided by YP.comI have been with Dr. Anand for over 3 years. I have failed 5 back surgeries and remain in chronic pain. Dr. Anand has offered me medications and pain injections that are very helpful. I had a spinal stimulator put in me, and my leg pain has improved tremendously. His staff and the St. Jude representative (Beverly) are excellent as well. I highly recommend this caring and skilled doctor....

Provided by YP.comI am a healthcare worker and expect to be treated with respect from a MD. DR Anah is a very rude and arrogant doctor, who should not be sharing space within Griffin Hospital who is so dedicated to the care and comfort of patients.
DR Anah was overly concerened with insurance information and took 10 minutes to basically try to talk me out of having accupunture becuase he would have to submit to 2 different companies. This would mean alot of work for his office staff and him. I have been to different specialist for my condition and not one was ever concerned enough about paperwork to discourage me ,a patient from having treatment. I told him I would leave than and he just got up and walked out didn't even care.
ALso, on my 1st visit he placed the accupunture needles in and left , no blanket , lights on and told me someone would be in and it was up to me how many minutes to leave the needles in. He never returned, he had his nurses aide come in and take out the needles, when I asked her how many she is taking out she said she didn't know . She just looks and takes them out, she than said if I find any when I get home to just throw out.
So, for anyone who wants a LISCENSED accupuncturist..he is only a medical accupunturist. VERY different.
He is not kind, considerate or caring. It is a stressful enviroment when a doctor cares more about the money than the patient.
This patient expected her healthcare to be covered no matter what, and does not want to know the reality of insurance. Most insurances do NOT pay for alternative treatment(acupuncture), and the patient is responsible. This patient did not want to comprehend this. It is not about money it is about know what you are responsible for as a patient. Dr. Anand has thousands of happy patients getting acupuncture regularly. Dr. Anand is a licensed MD and acupuncture is with more skills than most. This patient simply has personal problems and cannot find a doctor to listen to her ramblings.
