Lisa is awesome! She has guided me and my family through the joys and frustrations of parenting two older children adopted internationally. She is very caring and has a realistic approach to parenting and problem solving. Her network of connections in the community is extensive. I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for counseling.

I was referred to Lisa by a close friend when my daughter was in the midst of teenage turmoil. My daughter connected immediately with her and looked forward to each returning visit. Lisa says it "as it is" getting to the heart of the problem without alienating your child. I had taken her to a few other Psychologists who had no connection what so ever. My daughter just said what she felt they wanted to hear. I regard Lisa as a highly gifted therapist that has, and will, continue to change lives one by one!! Not to mention what a support she was to me during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I have made many referrals to Lisa as a private practitioner and school social worker. Every hard to reach adolescent ends up connecting with Lisa. Lisa has a gifted way of working with familes and their challenges who come form all different worlds whether it be adoption, foster care, typical and atypical adolescent difficulties, and family system issues. In the last 15 years I have known Lisa professionally I hear only positive feedback and refer the most meaningful clients to her.

Lisa Mazzeo is Amazing. She is simply top notch and when she started treating my daughter--she turned everything around. She was so exceptional that I would rate her FAR ABOVE any high priced Psychiatrist I had taken my daughter to in the past. Lisa has an uncanny intuition and genuinely cares about her patients. Lisa also has a special gift with children and I have never met anyone in the psychiatry field with her talent for insightfullness and with her unparalleled communication skills with children.

Lisa is one of the most intuitive, compassionate, and hardworking people that I have ever met. She is always there for us, and her words of wisdom are like a balm for my soul. I wish all counselors could be like her.
