Last night, I went to Maurices in Fairfield for the first time with the intention of buying a gift card for my sister-in-law. Initially, I was impressed. The clothes were cute and the store was clean and well lit. I walked straight to the counter, picked out a gift card and waited...and waited...and waited. There was a young sales associate and an older woman in the store. The sales associate looked at me, but never bothered to say, "Hello" or "I will be right with you." You know, the typical sayings you would hear at a professional establishment. As I continued to wait, I watched the sales associate follow the woman around the store. Needless to say, I got fed up and left. Bottom line: If you enjoy getting the cold shoulder and absolutely NO service, then this store is the place for you!
