Fairfield School, located in Fairfield, Mont., comprises two public schools. Fairfield Elementary School enrolls more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade six. Fairfield High School also has an enrollment of more than 150 students, in grades nine through 12. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults, able to contribute to the community. The schools enable students to work cooperatively in a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral and experiential applications in the classroom. The subjects cover core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music, and art. Fairfield School encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as its yearbook, band, student council, and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and softball.
