Called to see if they could take me last minute regarding tire balancing issue, they advised me that as long as I could leave it for a short time, they would fit me into the schedule. This is what a great business does, works with the customer and helps when in need. Now they have a customer for life due to the professional treatment and respect that was given. Thank You

Been here before for an oil change so when I had a leak in my break lines I brought my car back... Big mistake! I explained to Sunny what was wrong w breaks and said pretty sure it has a leak, he said they will check it out and let me know. After 15 min or so he came and told me breaks and everything are great but I need break drums. I gave the ok and when it was time to pick it up and I double checked they found no leak, Dino who I spoke with that did my oil change said no one mentioned they were supposed to check for a leak! Turns out it has one and will be an additional $400! He tried telling my dad who a mechanic in another state what was wrong and made no sense to him. I said in not paying that and the leak is the whole reason I brought my car in. I just paid $275 for unnecessary drums! After leaving I took my car and old drums to another mechanic who said they were pefectly fine and fixing the break line would only be $100! Can't believe I just ripped off and still have to pay $100 to someone else to actually fix the problem.

You won't get free wi-fi, gourmet coffee, and mints on your center console, but if you want your car fixed for a fair price without phantom repairs, then Fairhaven Midas is a great place to try. We had been repairing our Acuras exclusively the dealership and in addition to the premium repair rates and full msrp parts cost, the dealer frequently found extra items to repair. I eventually learned that the Acura dealer paid their techs by the job - essentially encouraging the tech to find other nearby repairs and pocket more $. It's hard to find a auto repair shop that you feel you can trust to not do questionable repairs and jack up the cost. I normally would stay away from a chain but we started going to Fairhaven Midas just needing brakes after our previous shop closed. After time, we noted how they go out of their way to find economical repair options, don't try to up-sell, and play it straight when advising what repairs can wait and which should be addressed asap. Dino will talk your ear off at times, and they do seem a little hectic on Mondays, but I'm generally the untrusting type and have developed a solid trust with their work and their fair (really pretty low) pricing. I've recommended them to friends and family, and do the same here.

The Guys are great, Dino is a breath of fresh air. I am so used to places always trying to sell, sell, sell. Dino acts like he cares, makes it fun and they Know what they are doing. Brought my car 3 places that could not fix my check engine light. When I finally was recomended to Midas in Fairhaven, they fixed the car in 1 day and their price was great. This place is the best for Auto Repair. Good Guys, Good repairs and good prices.

Not Very Good Service

Well i gotta say iv'e been to this Midas a few times, and every time i do "Dino" the i guess asst manager does nothing but joke around and sound so unproffesional. The place looks really dumpy, almost like a backyard mechanic's area. The Manager "Chris" seems to just be a jerk with no personality. The whole expierience was very uncomfortable and not proffesional at all! I now go to the Dartmouth Midas... Much better people and atmosphere...
