South Park City is an outside historic museum with 43 original furnished buildings and structures depicting an 1880s-era mining town. The buildings include a church, school, dentist/barber, doctor, coffin-maker, blacksmith, saloon, drug store, general store, homes, train engine and caboose, and other structures that portray life in an early gold mining town in the Colorado Rockies.
