Founded in 1971, Northside Elementary is an intermediate school that serves more than 800 students in grades three through five. The school s facilities include a library and media center, computer laboratory, art room, music room, gymnasium, locker rooms, remedial reading and math rooms, gifted and talented classroom and more than 30 regular classrooms. In addition, it has a cafeteria, playground, track, special education classrooms, primary project rooms, and psychologist's and social workers' offices. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as chorus, downhill skiing, safety patrol, intramurals and student council. Located in Fairport, N.Y., Northside Elementary is a part of the Fairport Central School District.
