Provided by YP.comAvoid this place at all costs!!! They don't stand behind their parts or labor regardless of what the website says.
Read on for my long and detailed description of how this place does business ...
I was calling around looking to find a business that could replace the battery in my old iPhone 3GS and stumbled on this place on google so I called them up to see what they would charge and was told $45 and that the battery was in stock and could be put in while I waited.
Fast forward about a week and my wife needs to run to the mall so I sent the phone with her thinking it would be no big deal to have them replace the battery while she shopped at the mall.
1st problem, they charge her $50 instead of $45 and they make her sign some sort of waiver saying that they are not liable for anything and that there is no warranty of any kind on the parts or labor. If I would have been there instead of my wife I would have said hell no and walked back out the door but she didn't think anything of it and just paid and signed it and left.
Several hours later she comes back to the store to pickup the phone and they hadn't even started it yet so she waits around for them to replace the battery. They eventually give the phone back to her and it appears to be working (she doesn't really know what to look for to test the work done).
She brings the phone home to me and it's charged about 48% so I plug it in and it won't charge it's acting like it's already fully charged but showing 48% battery. I leave it plugged in for about 3 hours or so and when I pick it back up now it's about 30% charged and it reboots every few minutes. Obviously there is something wrong with this battery. We run back up to the store about an hour before they close and on the drive up there I noticed that the receipt says that they replaced the battery on an iPhone 3G. I immediately google iPhone 3G battery 3GS and see people saying that if you put a 3G battery in a 3GS it will not charge and it will randomly reboot.
When we arrive to the store they argue with me and say that the phone is charging fine and working fine and that the battery for an iPhone 3G and 3GS are the same (they are not). At this point the battery is at 22% and I make a point to tell them that they did not put the proper battery in this phone and they look on the computer and say that they can order the correct battery and it will take a week to get and install and I said that's fine and I left the phone with them and left.
A little over a week later I have my wife call to see if the phone is done and/or if the battery has arrived and the guy she speaks to says it's done and ready to be picked up. I swing by on my way home that night and when the guy brings the phone out he tries to turn it on 3 or 4 times and it's completely dead. I question him on it and his face gets red and he said it was damaged and couldn't be repaired. He told me they didn't even replace the battery this time and that there is nothing they can do. If i plug the phone into the wall it will turn on for a few minutes and then reboot again just like when I first picked it up. I'm pretty sure they just told me whatever I wanted to hear the first time I went back up there just to get me out of the store.
Now I'm out $50 for a repair that never was done properly and they won't refund my money or fix the freaking phone. Bottom line is that these guys have no idea what they are doing and I wouldn't trust them with my old dirty shoe must less my cell phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
PS The CPR corporate website says that all repairs have a 6 month parts and labor warranty and I've been trying to reach the customer service line for them but it appears to just be a voicemail system and they are not returning my calls.
