I worked next door to this daycare and it came recommened by a friend. I enrolled my 6 mo old son. Everything was going good, the occasional lost or stolen item but nothing that showed my son wasn't being taken care of. My son is almost 4 yrs old now and we were told we couldn't bring him back. We got a call one day telling us that our son has been acting out for some time now and he would not be allowed to come back if it didn't stop. I was very upset, first of all why was i not told of his behavior long before it got to this point. My son had been there since he was 6 mo old and with all the new teachers there it just seemed as if they decided they didn't want to deal with him and that was that. We can't fix something if we have no knowledge of it. Communication between the teachers and parents weren't the best and one reason is teachers coming and going. It was a very sad situation and it happened two weeks before the birth of our second child.

We have a son with special needs. It was not apparent when he started at Magic Building Block on Old Collinsville Rd. As the staff found out, they struggled to adapt to his needs. We have been very patient with them. We have several specialty therapists seeing to his needs and we love him more than anything in the world. One employee in particular is terrible with children. She is full time and is very strict to the point of yelling at them. She has trouble handling any children with special needs (or multiple children without). In addition to this, she speaks poorly of our child on a regular basis (insulting him and us). If it weren't for this person working here and the inability of the manager to see her faults, we would still love this daycare, as several of the other employees are very caring and patient. Please reconsider choosing this daycare if you have a child with special needs or if you care about what adults say about children behind their back.

I have recently switched to a cheaper, more convenient daycare. Knowing how great daycare can be, I'm longing for this place. There is just no comparison in the quality of care between the two facilities. I am calling today to try and get my child back in to this wonderful daycare!!

I had two kids their from 6 months to 5 years old. It was a great experience.

I had my son there for 6 months and they treated him like he was their own. They are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
