A year ago we got married at the Cultural Center and a long story short we were not happy. considering the amount of money we paid to have our wedding there we expected our service to be a lot better. now don't get me wrong Tony gave us a few freebies like chair covers however that does not make up for all of our chicken plates being wrong. we paid extra to have baked stuffed chicken and instead we got cheaper grilled chicken plates. to make matters worse we were yelled at by Tony a few times during the night due to a guest of hours bringing in a bottle of champagne as a gift for us. we did not know the champagne came from out of his venue so we opened it sense Tony forgot to give us our bottles of wine. Tony then proceeded to yell at myself and my husband for what our guest had done now I'm sorry anybody who has had a wedding knows you cannot keep an eye on everyone there on your special day nor is that the bride and grooms responsibility. then it gets worse even after we mention that our food was wrong we got no apology we were pretty much told well that chicken plate is good too. then the next day when going through all of our wedding cards we realize that 15 of our cards have been robbed. a guest at the wedding told us a few days later they had heard two of the staff in the bathroom talking about our wedding cards and when the girls realize she was in the bathroom they ran out. knowing she could not pick out which girl that was she kept her mouth shut. when we complain to Tony we were told that his staff would never do that no if ands or buts about it. now the person who had heard these girls talkin happens to be a relative of the other owner! all that aside we would have been happier had they given us our extra food that we paid $30 a plate for and a gift card for the equal value of everything we paid over on the wrong plates instead weeks later we received a gift card for $50 to his restaurant as a thank you for having our wedding there! if you ask me we should have gotten a refund for all that money or a gift card for more than $50 to make up for the mistake that he had made although I told him on 7 different occasions that we wanted baked stuffed chicken. it's sad to say but Tony seems to be more interested in our money then he was in making our day perfect had he put in a little bit more effort into listening to what we really wanted I think the day could have turned out much better. it upsets me to know that even though we spent just about $15,000 with them they didn't have the decency to make our day perfect.
