Wow! I'm 68. I remember visiting my Grandmother in Fall River every summer back in the 1950's

499 Lindsey Street, right across from the Gold Medal Bakery. One of the first things I would do was go to Gold Medal Bakery, pick up a couple of packages of buns, and then walk about 2 blocks to Moi Lee's Take Out. Best Chow Mein sandwiches I ever had!!! Does anyone remember Moi Lee's and when they actually shutdown?

I want to buy Chow Mein and have it shipped to Vero Beach. Are there guides on minimum amounts?

Unique

I was born in Fall River, MA 76 years ago and I still remember eating Chow Mein Sandwiches as a teen ager. Of course there were no McDonalds or other fast food restaurants in existence. Chow Mein sandwiches were the quickest and best fast foods available. The Oriental Chow Mein Company factory on Eighth Street supplied the chow mein to all of the Chinese restaurants in Southeastern Massachusetts. I moved away from Fall River in the 1950's, however, I have always been able to have a supply of their chow mein in my home by requesting that they mail order it to me. I have served chow mein to many of my neighbors in different parts of the United States and now I have to order extra boxes for them whenever I order from the Oriental Chow Mein Company.
