Provided by YP.comMy Fiancé's grandmother passed, and both Funeral Directors, Mr. Allen and Justin Souza, were so helpful. They responded to the call quickly, and the arrangements and paperwork were done right away. Any and all special requests were granted, and they were willing to spend as much time as his family needed in making choices from liturgical readings for mass to which prayer cards to hand out. They did not force any sort of product or service that my Fiancé's family didn't need. As a matter of fact, they were extremely conscious of the family's budget, and always stayed within it. The service itself went wonderfully. There was extreme sadness, but you could sense the love. I'm so grateful that Mr. Allen and Justin were able to provide us a comfortable place to come together. Not only were they professional, but they were just so friendly and easy to talk to. My fiancé had a special and unusual request. (He is a sculptural artist) He asked Mr. Allen if he could have the rails from his grandmother's casket. He wanted to create a sentimental piece. No questions asked, Mr. Allen said, "absolutely" and he received the rails. I highly recommend working with Mr. Allen and/or Justin at South Coast.

Provided by YP.comWhen my grandfather passed away, the assistants at South Coast made my families hardest time so easy. My mother, the daughter of whom had passed away was extremely distraught. William Allen had asked her every opintion and gave my mother everything she wanted for grandpa's service. The facility was warm and sincere. All of the guests were comfortable and gave my mother compliments on how nice everything was. The Funeral service itself was organized and ran smooth. It gave my family closure. Thank You Mr. Allen, and thanks to the other workers. You made the passing of my grandfather easier on my family.

Provided by YP.comMy Dad passed away on Nov.5th 2007. We went to South Coast Funeral Home for the arrangements and spoke with Willy Allen. This was a difficult time and we were pleased with what we were getting for our Dad. On the day of the Mass and Inurnment Willy sent an associate in his place with a mini van to transport Dads ashes. He was not ready at the church, during mass the associate shuffled through papers, did not hand out cards for the car windows, rushed people who were following to the cemetery, drove fast people got lost, was seen talking on his cell phone at the cemetery, told people to leave as soon as the family left. We received comments about the service from family and friends. We did not get what we were expecting. We went to a professional and we were very disappointed with what we received. This is the last memory of my Dad and it hurts because my Dad deserved the best.
