Operational since 1962, the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County provides a variety of recreational activities and educational programs for children. It conducts classes on topics related to health, life, career, and character and leadership development. The club also provides sports activities, as well as fitness and arts and crafts sessions. Boys & Girls Clubs of North County additionally organizes cooking, singing, dancing and drama competitions and other special events. The club is a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (B&GCA), which serves more than 4.5 million children and maintains over 4,000 clubs throughout the United States.
