I called the seven corner's store this morning to ask if they carried the artificial/foam pumpkins. The young lady who answered the phone put me on hold to ask her manager and then informed me that they were out of stock. I asked if they could please direct me to a Michael's store that still has them. The manager piped up in the background and audibly instructed the employee to say "we don't have a code to look it up since they are all gone. You will have to call the other stores." The manager also sais she had "no way of knowing" if anymore would be received by the store to restock. I was not offered any local Michael's phone numbers to help me search. Horrible customer service. Disregard for standard inquiries and responses spawned by a refusal to provide basic customer retaining services. I had a similar experience last Xmas in their yarn department. My advice:if you're shopping for a holiday,go somewhere else. They have too much business to care about your individual needs. Also call ahead if looking for an item. Employees and especially managers will literally run away as you begin your approach to ask for assistance. This is the WORST Michael's in the area and they really don't care if you do or don't shop there.
