The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors is a nonprofit organization that represents the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors throughout the United States. The organization, which is also known as NAIFA, serves its members through its federation of more than 900 state and local associations. Its mission is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills and promote the ethical conduct of its members. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is one of the nation's largest financial services membership associations. The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors is headquartered in Falls Church, Va.
