The principal owner of Cape Cod Handymen, Shawn Hildreth, spent the $20,000 my family gave him to buy materials to build a deck on our home on himself. He has not repaid us and we are pursing Mr. Hildreth in a civil lawsuit. After receiving my money to buy materials, Mr. Hildreth started the job, then abandoned the job almost immediately, leaving his tools and truck on my property. The truck was subsequently repossessed by a finance company for non payment. Mr. Hildreth did send incoherent text messages to me weeks after abandoning the job. Do not let Mr. Hildreth on your property, he has proven himself to be imbalanced, irrational, and incoherent.
