Fargodome, located in Fargo, N.D., is an all-purpose convention and athletic facility that hosts a range of events. The facility houses the North Dakota State University football team and hosts musical concerts. It also features tradeshows, expositions, basketball, ice hockey and ice shows. The facility is spread over an area of more than 120,000 square feet and is one of the largest exhibit halls in the state. It features a more than 30-ton, 20-row moveable riser that gives it seating flexibility. The riser can change the house from the football configuration to a smaller basketball or ice hockey setting. It is propelled on air bearings and uses a more than 120-horsepower compressor.
