Located in Fargo, N.D., Fargo Senior Services provides a variety of services for senior citizens. Established in 1971, the organization offers home-delivered meals, community dining, transportation, outreach, recreational programming and health screening services. It provides a variety of volunteer services for individuals of the age of 60 and above. Fargo Senior Services is funded by the Fargo Park District, Cass County, state of North Dakota, federal government, area organizations, and private and corporate donations. The organization supports the Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to homebound senior citizens. It organizes various events and parties, as well as operates several senior citizen centers.
