We ordered a living room set for my mother's move to an assisted living situation. First, we were told the merchandise was in stock and would be delivered on a specific day. We were called by the manager and informed that two of the items were special ordered and take 6 - 8 weeks and there would be an additional delivery fee. Then we were told that delivery could not be made on a Tuesday because their delivery only went to our area on Fridays and Saturdays. We changed to a Saturday and the manager forgot to put the order in for delivery. Her response at every turn was "I'm sorry." No attempt to remedy the situation, only to set up for another week. Meaningless words from a clueless and inept manager. It's a wonder she could ever be promoted or continue working for a major company. Obviously she has hidden assets that La Z Boy values more than customer satisfaction, customer retention, and repeat business and can afford the negative word of mouth they will receive from my family.
