Oakland Aesthetic Dermatology was established in 1980 by Barry Auster,M.D. Julie Boag PA-C. We treat all skin diseases. In September of 2002 we moved to a new, larger and more modern office in Forest Park Medical Center in Farmington Hills, MI. We have the newest and most up-to-date equipment and offer the most extensive range of laser services for the treatment of skin disorders in the state. We have extensive experience in pediatric skin diseases, particularly in the treatment of childhood birthmarks. We have early morning office hours and some early evening appointments in addition to aesthetic services on Saturday mornings. We offer the most up-to-date treatments for severe psoriasis including the innovative narrowband ultraviolet-B phototherapy. With technologically advanced lasers we are able to treat excess facial blood vessels, rosacea, varicose veins of the legs, exc ess hair, tattoos, birthmarks, pigmented lesions, stretch marks, red acne scars, and sun damage with our fotofacial treatments. We are very experienced in various filler materials for wrinkles and scars using zyderm, cosmoderm and cymetra. We have used botox for 7 years and effectively treated wrinkles and excess sweating. Microdermabrasion is effective for acne scars and large pores. We use both glycolic and trichloroacetic acid for various depth chemical peels.
