There is a young girl who answers there phone who is a true nut job and will argue and change her name and hang up on you when you call, and she wont tell you anything to you until you give her every detail of your life which is not legal they will tell you everything is fine and then try to obtain a judgement on you.

report these guys to the attorney general or the Oakland county Bar (248) 334-3400

What you need to do is report them to a law firm because as usually they are not paying attention to the FDCPA. In fact go to Gary Nitzkin.

Someone from this company contacted me with incorrect information, claiming I had received a summons on a SUNDAY and kept pressing me for the last four digits of my social security number. When I refused on the grounds of not knowing who the (blank) he was, he asked me for my birthdate and address. When I gave that to him, he said he thought he might have the wrong person and asked me if I'd ever lived on two different streets I'd never heard of! Then he once again started pressing me for my social, repeating, "What can I do with the last four of your social, sir?" in an antagonistic tone. When I advised him I didn't care what he could or could not do because I don't provide that info to someone I have never heard of, he backed off and told me to check my credit report and call back if I felt the need.

I called the law firm and verified he was indeed an employee. The woman who answered was provided with the last four of my social and my phone number and, lo and behold, I wasn't in their system at all! Never mind that I can't imagine why someone with a debt would receive a summons, I can only assume the twit who called me was intentionally trying to use intimidating language. I reported his rude aggressive behavior to the woman but who knows how far that went. Disgusting and sleazy experience.
