i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseI brought my parents cat in on a Tuesday after being hit by a car. I was not sure if he would make it. I asked them to call me not my father the next morning with his condition, as my elderly father was not doing well coping with this. They called him anyway. They did'nt bother to tell me they were not open on Wednesday. I left a message hoping the vet who lives in the building would give me a quick call. No reply. I called Thursday, and after much runaround, spoke to a vet tech who told me of x-rays and other doctors coming later that day. When I called Friday morning, they told me he was doing better, no major internal problems, and he could come home to heal. Again they had called my father, who has dementia, and he was upset because he did'nt understand what he was told. We brought him home, he seemed to be doing poorly, and was dead the next morning. When I called to inquire about veterinary care for my 9 yr old dog (he needed to have his teeth cleaned desperately & I also thought he would surely nd to have a tooth or 2 pulled), the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant to talk with, very informative & understanding. Not once did I rcv any negative response from her & when I went in with my dog, they were all just as kind & considerate. They were compassionate about my dogs needs & even allowed me to stay w/him until he had his dental work done. I know that alot of places would not allow this so it really struck a chord with me. They were quick about the process & gentle with my dog... which most certainly goes a long way in my book. I didn't feel like my dog was just a number in a long line of 'animals' and in my opinion, he was handled in a caring way (which is no easy feat as he is not very comfortable around ppl.) His dental procedure was done quite quickly (& that incl'd getting his talons clipped) ! I also appreciated that they didn't do something that wasn't necessary and cause a bill to be enlarged, if you will... no teeth needed to be pulled! Over all, my whole experience there was great. Had I realized this vet was here sooner I would've brought all of my animals here throughout the years no matter how far I had to travel. All based off of 1 experience. Thank you Clearwater.
