Called them on a Friday requesting a Saturday delivery of firewood any time after 2pm with a courtesy phone call when they are on their way. Was told they were putting me down for "end of day" and that they would call.



No call, no show. Called them at 4:55pm on Saturday after sitting around all afternoon waiting. No answer. Voicemail greeting said "we are currently helping other customers". I left a message that was returned Monday morning.



The person that called apologized for not showing up on Saturday and then tried to tell me that he told me on Friday that if they couldn't get to me by the end of Saturday that they would deliver first thing Monday.



I instantly knew that was a lie because he never said such a thing, and I never would have agreed to it because I wouldn't be there or have time to move the wood out of my driveway when I got home from work. And what about that courtesy call?



I spoke with a manager after asking to be compensated for the frustration and he insisted that he heard the order taker tell me that Saturday was not guaranteed and that Monday would be next. He said he could not do anything else for me beside cancelling the order.



Never calling these people again.
