I hate that it has come to writing a bad review, but after several months of unreturned phone calls what choice has he left me!?!I had Roger build me a custom built in breakfast nook with piano hinge storage benches and a table top. Mistake #1) was not asking him to show me the FINAL plans before he built it. It was not flush with my cabinetry on the one side. He swears I wanted it this way, but I assure you I did not. Otherwise I would have have the tile flooring ripped up and repaired vs patching what I though would be covered by my new seating. The way he built it also makes that end of the bench unusable for seating.#2) They built the table too large and had to cut it down. The finish on the end that they cut is dull and clearly visible from across my house! He was going to fix this. When?!?#3) He misplaced the kick plate to my cabinet base that he took to match the stain. He says I lost it...that is not the case. Either way, he said he could make me a new one (I told him I would even pay for it!), but months later the first thing I see every time I walk into my kitchen is the missing kick plate. Guests comment on it all the time.I pride myself on keeping my home beautifully maintained. I do not appreciate contractors who half finish the job or do sloppy work. I realize my bench was not a $30k custom kitchen cabinet job, but if he's willing to short cut me...what's he doing to his bigger jobs?Still considering him? Add at least 6-8 weeks on the time frame he gives you. Roger...if you want me to remove this post I suggest you try calling me back.
