We were at pool last week and saw a young girl who went under water three times while lifegaurd was on her phone. And watched a young man that was at pool jump in and pool her out with no help from employees..

Lawsuit waiting to happen.....hope little girl is OK

Best thing about this place is it's location to Ohiopyle. We stayed in a group camp site that was all clay (rained while we were there and made a slimy mess). It also had roots all over it that made it almost impossible to find a good place to setup a tent. We didn't even have electricity even though their website mentioned that some of the group sites have electricity (none of them do). I'm glad I asked the question before I left. When I asked if there was someplace we could electricity we were told we could rent the pavilion for $100+. We also had a couple of cancelations which were non-refundable. Not sure why. It's not like we were in any different space than what they planned on. If anything we had less people to us the restrooms (which are old and have no privacy - stalls are only 4 foot tall). The pool was nice but they closed it when it started sprinkling. The rafting was great but the camping experience here was disappointing. Our group will not stay here again.

great camping

I have camped at several camp grounds over the years, this camp ground is the best I have stayed at. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They have alot of activities for the whole family, a pool, ponds to take the young ones fishing and it is only minutes away from Ohiopyle. If you enjoy camping and family fun this camp ground is one of the best in the area.

Location
The mileage between Lemont Furnace and Benner's shows 8 miles on yellow pages. However, if you map it and get directions, it is actually 14.3 miles and roughly 26 minutes drive time. Distance does make a difference. Thank you.
