Provided by YP.comSeveral issues over time at this place of business. My first interaction was because my truck was leaking brake fluid. So they tell me the brake lines need replaced and they replaced them, then they were still leaking so another towing bill back to them for them to tighten up a hose they forgot to tighten.(yet still leaking after that) I was still ignorant enough to take the truck back to have the ignition replaced, after that visit something was hitting inside the steering column(going clunk clunk when you turn wheel) but since it didn't affect the drive-ability I let it go. This was all last fall. Fast forward to last week when I decided to take my truck in for state inspection as it needed inspected and my normal mechanic was on vacation. I was told it needed front lower ball joints, brakes, a license tag light and light bulb in 3rd brake light (1 of the 3 bulbs is out) Grand total $980 (less than $300 they said for parts, and still trying to figure out how that was $300 worth of parts as I priced the ball joints and they were $40 and brake pads aren't that expensive. )I was in a hurry said, forget it throw on a rejection sticker (then the guy took 30 minutes just to write out the rejection sticker. )
I got back from my vacation just now and my mechanic was back from his so I took it to him. There was NOTHING wrong with my ball joints, I did need new brake pads, but the reason my brake fluid keeps leaking is the caliper(which is probably what was wrong all the time.) And the one thing he told me that Baileys didn't was that tape over my back lens is not passable, needed a new lens cover.
I decided to go in and speak with the owner, Randy Baily. Very arrogant individual, said others have complained of the same thing and that I should have brought a state trooper in, they'd bring their own mechanic????? instead of taking it elsewhere. He insisted there was no way his mechanic could possibly be wrong.
As I told him then, I guess since he does not want to hear any constructive criticism then I will turn it over to the State Inspection Department. While you can lose your license for passing unsafe vehicles you can also lose your license for stating vehicles need work they do not need. I was trying to be polite in explaining the situation but it was lost on Mr Arrogance.
