Provided by YP.comFirst of all, you are told you can get your furniture within 30 days. We received a couple pieces that were "in stock," but it took several weeks more to receive the rest. Also, they heavily promote ("SELL") their "Guardsman" furniture protection program. The salesperson (Pam) told us that near the end of the warranty period, just call them and they will take care of all the wear and tear. Sounded good! But, what a big fat lie! We could get nothing taken care of! We couldn't even get the marring on the leather (not natural flaws) that most likely occurred during transport from overseas taken care of that we reported upon delivery! But, don't take my word for it. Google Guardsman, and you will find it is a scam. Shame on Bassett for lying about such a costly and useless program. For upholstery, just buy an after-market protection system (such as Scotch Guard) and reapply it as directed, and you'll be MUCH better off! The legs on the leather sofas also were not secured. For wood furniture, just know that the wood and/or finishes do not hold up well. They spin freely (and they aren't round!). So, the legs look broken if the sofas are moved at all. We were very disappointed with our purchases, and would have been better off spending much less at Ashley (ugh!) for the same thing. In the end, you don't always get what you pay for. You can go to a merchant like Ethan Allen and get the quality and service you pay for (in our experience with them). Or, you can go to Bassett, and get crap for the amount you will hand over to them.
