The term Bespoke, while common in the United Kingdom, is seldom used in the United States. Today it is mostly used to describe Tailors that create custom fitted clothing (bespoke suits, etc.). Bespoke is also the past tense of Bespeak, which means "to suggest; or be evidence of". Architecture inherently exhibits the values of those that own, occupy, design, build or otherwise interface with it. My interests in Architecture lie in fundamentally and authentically expressing the values unique to each client and project. It is my belief that any building can be a good building if the architect understands what that the client's and their building's fundamental values are, and expresses them authentically. Often, this expression differs from the client's initial notion of what they thought their building would be prior to going through the design process. As a native to Northwest Arkansas, I have seen the impact of design and construction on our region over my lifetime. As the pace of development increases, our region is being taxed more than ever to meet its business needs as well as maintaining the character that has made it such a desirable place to live. I have decided to dedicate myself to providing design services that are tailored to better my clients lives and the region that we know and love.
