First Baptist Church Fayetteville was founded over 150 years ago. Located at Fayetteville, Ark., it represents different social/economic classification, multiple races and nationalities. In addition to performing various religious services, it conducts small-group Bible study, ministry, outreach, Sunday school and fellowship programs. Sunday school classes are held at pre-school, children, middle school, youth, college and adult levels. The congregation also publishes a weekly newsletter, by the name The VOICE. It is a member of the Washington-Madison Baptist Association, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
