Provided by YPmobileTook my Ford Explorer to him for years. Never found a better price. Mike was always honest and never tried to sell me on something I didn't need.

Provided by YP.comI took my car into this garage for a simple oil change, and the car was returned to me with air conditioning problems. When I returned to the garage to get a problem, they created, fixed. The procedure took extremely long, and I was charged extremely high. The workers are slow and apathetic. I would strongly advise a customer to go anywhere else.

Provided by YPmobileI left my car in the care of Mike the owner initially thinking it was in
good hands.I was promised my car issue would be dealt with.It was a minor issue requiring a part that needed to be ordered. My car has been with this garage for nearly 8 weeks,Mike refuses to pick up the phone...and only answers if he does not recognize the number.Yes he was caught out like this several times. The customer service ... Which seems to be Mike is appalling and I feel I have been treated horribly. He continues to hold my car hostage at his garage and refuses to pick up the phone.I feel he takes advantage of any woman he perceives to be vulnerable,so me being a foreigner fell into this category.I feel that I have been treated despicably and have been led up the garden path by this insane behavior.Females avoid this garage at all costs it's just a menace.

Provided by YPmobileI am new to the Fayetteville area. I was referred to this garage. I went because to have my transmission looked at. I was told nothing was wrong with my transmission but they did "find" 3 things that were wrong. One fixed a problem. Last Tuesday my car died due to the drive in my transmission going out! I will never take another car there. I've since heard other bad reports about this garage.

Provided by YP.comCompletely agree with STEVODITO. Complete waste of time and energy. Not only is their parking lot more of a barren scrapyard that impedes Lafayette Garage's ability to monitor inventory and know what is going on, but I took my car in for a mere appraisal of drivetrain damage. MORE than a month later, no response, no help, no returned phonecalls (although I called at least twice daily requesting information). These guys don't know what the hell they're doing, so avoid at all costs or just drive down college to AAMCO. They will let you know what is going on with your vehicle within 2 hours of taking it to them.

Provided by YP.comI'm certainly not family. I do, however, have an older car that's had a few issues over the past couple of years. Mike has always treated me fairly and been prompt on addressing any issues that I might have.
I recommend him to people regularly, and until I have a reason not to, I will continue to do so.

Provided by YPmobileHorrible customer service. The other reviews have to be friends or family. My car sat up there for two weeks until I towed it to another shop. Never answer the phones. Never return calls. They had a new excuse for me every time I came up to garage to check on car. Terrible. Stay away.

Provided by YP.comTotally honest, they will tell you what you do and do not need. I have been going to them since they opened and I recommend them to everyone, especially all my female friends. They have never done anything to my car it didn't need and try to help me save cash by telling me to wait on certain things.

Provided by YP.comI have a BMW and 2 older K5 blazers. I always take them to Mike and Dave at Lafayette Garage. They have been my only mechanics for three years now. They are friendly and take the time to explain car problems in a girlspeak so I understand what is wrong. They have fixed umpteen minor problems like adjusting carbuerators for my son's truck without charging me anything. Their prices are always reasonable, their work is always good. They take the time to be sure they find the problem. On the rare ocassions there is a problem they always stand behind their work and fix it. I will not take my cars anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comNice people who care about their customer a lot. They give warranty on the parts they fix and will help you get through the problem if you face the same problem again. They don't overcharge either. Best in Fayetteville. Very Recommended.
