I went their once and I have been scared to go back. the Dentist was very adamant about what he will and will not do almost to a scolding nature, front desk was not friendly. they said they wanted to do all this work and I paid so much walking out I was in tears. I know I need work done but I will take my chances somewhere where people will make me feel comfortable and not shameful!!

UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE DENTAL ASSISTANTS (except Michelle, she's pretty nice-LOL). The doctors are decent in work & mannerism but they feed off their negative dental assistant's energy-& monotonousness attitude.

You're concerns are taken like "eye rolling complaints" which is not cool at all if you're a patient with some serious concerns of your dental care for long term sake.

otherwise, this office is decent but I'd go with a better friendly & professional staffed dental office - that's why I'm switching STAT!

It's ironic how a business of care and smiles operates in an opposing manner when it come's to certain staff, they don't seem to realize their poor attitude affects the business.

Funny how the reviews on their website is just all the good reviews they've compiled.

If you're miserable as you seem in your career-move on to something else...

My family and I just moved to Georgia from California. After looking for an office nearby we came across Coast Dental. We were a little hesitant at first given the reviews below, a (healthy mouth with almost 5k in treatment, and someone with overbilling) but we decided to take this reviews like a grain of salt and we made appointments for my 2 daughters, husband, and myself. We are quite happy we did! Dr Ramos and his staff were very courteous and attentive. My 2 daughters (20, and 21) were given a clean bill of health, and had their simple cleaning. My husband and I were aware of the fact that we had neglected our teeth, and knew we had some issues. We were shown both on radiographs and in our mouth the areas of concern, and a treatment plan was presented for me that included a root canal on a tooth, crowns, and gum therapy. my husband was in better shape than me, but still needed work. The nurses then presented a treatment plan that outlined the minimal coverage under my insurance plan, and what my out of pocket would be which far exceeded my insurance coverage. I was never pressured, was offered financing options, and we started treatment that focused in the most important areas first. We are fortunate in being able to afford our care, and are aware of the limitations of insurance coverage, and of the condition of our mouths. As far as the reviews below... How can someone with a healthy mouth have treatment for almost 5k?? and how come my insurance only covers maintenance services but no actual treatment??

"watch your wallet" is right! i went in with a healthy mouth, wanting a regular cleaning. after a thorough exam, an "office manager" came in with a $4600 proposal, even after insurance!! she said i could begin the work immediately that same day. i declined, went home and changed my humana plan to careington care 1 (recommended by their office). the following day, i went back to coast to see if the new plan would make the dental work more affordable. i saw another "office manager", who LAUGHED when i told her i had changed my plan to care 1. she made it clear that care1 was not a good plan, which i thought was odd because care1 is advocated in their paperwork. so, rather than continue with coast, i told the office manager i wanted to pick up the xrays i had done the previous day. about that time, dr. ramos (dentist i had seen previous day) rushed into the office manager's area and told me that he was not willing to work with me because there were "trust issues". i assured him that i was picking up my xrays and would go elsewhere. then he accused me of calling him a "shister" in an email. i told him that another reviewer had used that word and that i had only forwarded the review to let coast dental know what was being said about their office. dr. ramos continued to insist that i had called him a shister. he asked the office manager to pull up the email so that he could prove his point. of course, he was wrong. but now i am going to call him a shister and his office a gold digging sham. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FREQUENT THIS BUSINESS! they are located in a strip mall.....very inauspicious location, and probably temporary because of they way they treat prospective patients. STAY AWAY.

Watch your wallet!

They were able to assist me with my dental emergency and remedy the issue. However, they over billed me by more than $100 out of pocket and as soon as my treatment was over, immediately tried to book additional, unnecessary work on fillings. In addition, they charged me fees for items like a cancer screening (which most dentists do for free) and for instrument cleansing. Seriously? I can't fault the work but if you go there, expect the mechanic to recommend extra work your car doesn't need and then expect to get overcharged for it!
