Provided by YP.comThe stylists at Fancy and Funky have been taking care of me from grade school until now, when I'm getting married. The owner has true passion for what she does and it shoes in her work. The shop is small, but intimate, and you feel more like a close friend than you do a "client." The team has always put themselves out to accommodate my requests, especially when it comes to scheduling. I could not trust their ability more or give a better recommendation than years of continued business.

Provided by YP.comI've been going to F n F for many years and have been nothing but pleased with the results. So much so I made arrangements for Shannon to come to the venue where my daughter got married and take care of the bridal party. It was perfection! Her personality is fun and sweet, as well as professional. She worked with all the girls and they absolutely loved what she did with their hair. I've recommended Shannon to many friends and know they continue to be her clients because of her keen insight when dealing with all ages, different hair types and people's facial traits. Combined...it makes a HUGE difference having someone knowledgeable doing your hair! I never go anywhere else!!

Provided by YPmobileAfter many calls to salons looking for someone that could do something along the lines of a reverse ombré , fancy funky promised they could do anything that I wanted . I was excited to go to my consult with many pics for examples . Again Shannon assured me she me she could get the results I was looking for ! So 2 weeks later I show up for my app still excited! she then talked me into getting highlights on the crown of my head n solid color underneath , and a few strips of purple n blue ! She said it would be easier ! My first clue that this may not go so well was when my stylist asked me should she do the solid underneath or foils on top first . Even I knew stripping the color from my hair was gonna take the longest ! After being in shop for 9 hours ! There was lots of mistakes , she dropped bleach on my eyebrow n had to redye them back dark, there was hair dye stains all over my face n neck ! Many times she called someone else over to look at my hair to see if it was done !This I took as kinda normal n I was kinda pleased but exaused from being tugged on for so long , it wasn't what I wanted but I could work w it n was promised again that the next time I came in she would get it closer to what I wanted that that style took time ! The horror came the next morning ! When I washed my hair big chunks broke off where the highlights where put in , n where the dark color underneath went it was spotty n chunks of my original hair color showed thru ! N straight lines in my highlights that looked like my hair had bad roots !! I also knew that the blue strip would fade but in one shampoo it was green ! We had not talked about price at consult of before she started, but I knew from my friends that 150-200 was going rate for highlight n was ok w that ! Little did I know she hit me w a 300$ bill ! I payed it ! N next morning swearing to myself to never go to a Salon again ! I could have done a better job at home !! I didn't call to have her fix it ! I never want them to touch my hair again !!!

Provided by YP.comI have been going to this salon for years, I have never had a bad experience. You come in and you're immediately greeted by every single person. Regarding the previous review about having to wait... Do you want it done fast or do you want it done right? If you want fast, go to Great Clips. These ladies know what they are doing. Worth every single penny.

Provided by YP.comI needed a hair sylist who really understood what works with my hair, and I found her at Fancy & Funky. I brought in some pictures, we talked them over, and she gave me the best haircut; i loved it. They knew just what to do for everyone that walked in that day. They were recommended to me by another hairsylist because they were the best she knew for razor haircuts. Great service, relaxing visit, would recommend! The price was the only con for me, but I would definitely go back.

Provided by SuperpagesAll the girls in this salon have done my hair many times over the last 6 years. They are Christian's first and AWESOME COMO's. I drive 4 hours to get them to do my hair because I moved to Columbia South Carolina. They are up to date on all the latest color and trends. You will love this salon and all the girls there! Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great place to get your hair cut. The women who work there know what they're doing. If you're not sure about something that you want done, one of them can set you straight. They know what will and won't work for your hair type. The price is a little up there: $40 for a cut (includes shampoo and blowdry and depending on your hair type, straight iron as well) but compared to some of the cheap salons out there this is well worth it.
