I've had nothing but great experiences here... My first trip was for feeder mice, and when we decided to start fish tanks, we went back. They walked us through setting up the tanks, tested the water for us regularly, and let us know when to add fish, and what we could add at given stages. As a new tank owner, we had some initial water problems, and they spent a lot of time teaching us how to fix it, and testing it until we got it right. They wouldn't sell us fish the tank wasn't ready to sustain. We now have fresh and saltwater fish, and the employees here have spent a great deal of time guiding us. Awesome place- I don't bother to price compare, because the customer service is just that good.

I purchased a sweet little gerbil from here couple months back. I was excepting that my daughter would be able to enjoy her for at least 3 to 5 years. It sadly was not the case because we had to put her to sleep be use she got really sick suddenly even though she was taken care of really well. I will never buy from here again, and I hope no one else does either. She even had her little tail snapped while she lived there so we bought her with trauma from having her tail snapped at one point and she was also very skinny.

My husband and I bought and set up a brand new ten gallon tank. We bought two fish from Aqua-Rama. There were two fish actively swimming around the tank but the sales lady only grabbed one of those and then specifically moved the filter out of the way to get to the fish hiding behind it. Guess which one died? Within an hour of being in our tank it started showing signs of tail rot. It was belly up by the next morning. We brought both back with water from our tank and they refused to refund our money stating that it was our tank's fault. Brand new tank and only one was affected....yeah sure. They wouldn't take a sample of the water either unless we brought in a separate container without the fish. In the end we're out of $40 for two fish and food

This place isowned and ran by a bunch of "hustlers". They are all smiles until they make that sale final. Its too bad because there is no telling how much money I WOULD have spent in their store. I paid 16$ for a heat bulb and got a USED bulb that burnt out in a day. My ball python got ill after eating their mice as well. They will not get another dime from me.

I have been going to this pet store for over 20

years now, I love this place and the service that I get when I go there. I have never seen this store dirty or unkept in any way. The animals all are very well taken care of from what I see. Most of the time if I have a concern about one of my animals I just call and everyone in that pet store is more than helpful even on the phone. I am a regular customer not a personal friend or family but my family and myself really enjoy just going and looking at all the varieties of animals and reptiles that they have available. The family that owns this business never mind if we just want to look at all of the pets. To me and my family they have been a nice place to visit and to buy quality pets from them. I don't know where these other people come off putting this business down, they really need to appreciate a good business while we have it.

I have been a customer of Aqua-Rama for over 16 yrs now. This family owned business has been serving Fayettville for over 30 plus years now. I use to live in the area but now travel about 1 1/2 hours to buy quality hardy stock fish from them. If your looking for honest information and HARDY stock when shopping for fish this is the store for you. Remember when shopping for fish quality is everything and you get what you pay for. I have been shopping for Fancy tailed guppies for most of my life and this is my favorite place to buy from. I have never had a problem with this place, but I have learned a ton from the owner. HE has always been honest with me and he will shoot straight when giving information or selling you a quality product. Over the years this Local Pet Shop has got better and better. His Daughter is very respectful and offers excellent customer service. If you are looking for a quality family owned place to buy hardy fish from this is your best bet. This LPS is in great hands and I will be shopping with them for years to come. If you are looking for cheap low quality fish from Singapore this is not the place for you. I have never know the owners to smoke in the store and the owner of this shop is a hobbiest that has been in the business longer then most people have been alive. Last time I made the trip I noticed the owners put alot of work in the arrangement of certain areas they look cleaner then ever, Thanks for taking the time to read this. I think alot of these people.

These folks are great !!! They have helped me out so much. They really know their stuff, or will make a few calls. BUT if you go in like you know every thing or tell people their wrong - of course your service won't be great.

Or if the place is packed-they can't give you super service-but they still give good service.



The owners Hate to see or hear about abused animals-if they were in bad shape when you saw them-AquaRama most likely just got them because of their condition-the prices may be more But they are small family owned not a chain and animals are healthy as a rule.

I've brought: fish, birds, snakes, lizards, rodents, turtles, crabs, frogs, feeders, feed, bedding and who knows what else !

My son was only 5 when we moved out of state-but he goes back every year & visits and our family there shop at AquaRama still 11 years later !!

Have You ever wanted to walk into a pet store and feel like you were in a saw movie and at any moment when you re in the back secluded looking at the fish something bad is going to happen to you? Well then this is the right place! The whole store is falling apart, the lighting is very poor a.d the animals are overpriced, housed very poorly and look sick. The Macaws had no back feathers behind its wings, all of the puppies were shivering in little cages by themselves the cages for the feeder rodents were despicably dirty i wouldn t feed them to my snakes and the rabbits were kept in small wire cages. This place is a horror show featuring animals, stay away from it

This pet shop isn't any different then other pet shops I've been in. Except for the awesome little bridge they have. I have purchased two bunnies and will be going back for a guinea pig. The animal cages were not dirty and the animals looked just fine. The little bridge they have in the store is really cool! I was surprised when I went in with my children they loved it. I did not smell smoke and the employees were very friendly. No I am not a friend or family member just an army wife giving my honest opinion. Check it out for yourself , it's not horrible as some of these people are making it out to be. There were no "young punks" when I went .. An older man and young lady.

I've read so many bad reviews for this place and I have no idea where people got all these negative feelings for such a great pet store. As an animal lover I think this place goes above and beyond what most pet stores do for their animals. Fish tanks are clean, cats have water and food, cages are cleaned regularly, employees are very helpful and great with answering the three hundred questions my kids make up about the animals everytime we go in. Great place to buy a pet or just spend a while walking around. My son loves all the different kinds of fish, my daughter lives the rabbits and mice, and I love feeding the turtles. Awesome place so just ignore the haters :)

Everyone in the store smokes INSIDE the store! Its so bad when you open the door smoke litterally billows out- it gets in your clothes and your hair! SO NOT HEALTHY FOR THE ANIMALS OR THE GENERAL PUBLIC. The animals look sick especially the dogs in the back! Diplorable conditions! Needs to be shut down!!!!

All these good reviews are just friends and employees of "Diana," she's loud and obnoxious and the store is full of a bunch of dirty punks. The puppies started starting screaming and crying in their little 2 by 2 cages. They keep guinea pigs in mice travel cages, they pile 6 foot snakes into tiny 10-20 gallon aquariums, it's absolutely disgusting. The owner makes it obvious by creating a YellowPage account just to defend her store. If it doesn't apply, let it fly I always say, why would she need to do this to defend the store if none of it was true? She just doesn't want to lose business. Trust me, WALK INTO THE STORE. LOOK AT THESE ANIMALS, IT'S SICKENING. You'll never go there again.



Even the feeders (such as the mice) have frost-bite and look like they've been half-eaten already.

These people love animals and it shows. The cages are all very clean. The animals appear happy. They have a wide variety of fish and pets. I was extremely surprised because of some bad reviews I read. There is no way this place could ever have been as filthy as some claimed. Makes me wonder if it is competitors making these false statements.

And, the young lady who 'owns' the place was very nice and obviously educated in the care of the animals. She is very pleasant, also. I truly enjoyed looking and will be back! Raeford animal lover.

I've read many reviews saying horrible things about aquarama. These are all true. People rating the store 5 stars are just employees. NEVER COME HERE.

best salt water i have seen in this town. the people know what they are doing good prices nice selection. eveerything is nice lucky ownwer beautifull wife and a beatifull business
