Jason G. and Frankie D. from Bass did a great job servicing our unit. I appreciate Jason's willingness to explain what was going on, what they did to fix it and what to do it the problem occurs again. It is important to educate your clients and this team did that. Our normal service Man, Mike is also amazing every time. This is a great team.

Allan Bass's company is Extremely reputable company. The technicians are courteous and helpful in explaining the options to fix the situation. Randy was my technician today and was very thorough and I give him a five stars. Truthfully, they've all been wonderful. In the past I used other companies but ended up having to call Bass in the end. Now, I would NEVER use anyone else. They're a company that time after time proves to me they're the Best.

Eddie was on time (actually early) and did an outstanding job. He made sure our system was in great shape for the summer months. He is a very professional tech.
We have been using Bass for well over 14 years and always get the best service possible from them. Great company

Improperly installed air handler led to water leaking through my ceiling causing damage. Unit installed 5/2/16, failed 5/3/16. Unit required multiple repair calls and could not be passed by county inspectors until 6/15/16! 11/14/16-Unit has now failed again-leaking coils. Same reason old unit was replaced. $7250 for a unit in the same condition as the replaced unit. Could NEVER recommend this company-except to an enemy!

Even though we did not get our system from Bass, they are the ones we call when we have problems. My wife and I now wish we had bought ours from them. Their technicians are very polite and knowledgeable, and are very efficient. We know our system is very old and nearly obsolete, but they put no pressure on us to replace the unit. We know who we'll call when that happens.

QUIET COMFORT

Very good customer service from the initial sell to the final set up of my new system. This company is the only one in our area that is factory certfied to install Carriers high efficiency models. My new heat pump is unbelievably quiet, you actually have to look down into the top of the unit to see if the fan is turning. We had zoning installed at the same time and I would recommend this to anyone looking to please thier stay at home spouse. Great job, highly recommend.

First I would like to thank all of our Great Customers, many of whom we have worked with for many years. In reference to Serena S. I would like to clarify some things. First we do not extend credit inhouse except on a very limited basis to Maintenance Agreement Customers. Any credit we would extend would be for 30 days only and payed in full. We only use the court system as a "last resort" when repeated attampts to contact customer have failed, we have no desire to take anyone to court, but sometimes this is the only way to get some peoples attention. We also consider that we might have done a better job of explaining the terms even though they are plainly printed on the invoice. Allan Bass, President

Poor Business Practices

Bass allowed me to charge $500 on my service agreement in July for a part at a 1.5% interest after 30 days. I was told balance was due prior to my April renewal. One day after sending $100 towards my balance in October I was served a small claims notice for the FULL amount leaving me now owing for court costs. Not ONE letter was sent or call was made before taking it to court plus I had a $78 credit towards my service agreement (on top of the $100 sent) that wasn't credited in the court papers. Too bad the office staff is incompetent because the technician was fantastic.

Disappointed with lack of knowledge

I originally called Bass to come and look at my AC unit. I was out of town and returned on a Friday night to no AC in my apartment. I called Saturday morning to see if the tech could come out earlier. I left a voice mail with the service and received a call about 20 minutes later. The first words out of the tech's mouth was "if I come out today it will be at overtime rates." That told me he didn't want to work on Saturday. The tech arrived on the scheduled date. He looked at my unit inside and then on the roof. While that was a fiasco on my part (I am a new home owner) after about 2 hours he was finally able to look at my unit on the roof. He stated it was an electrical problem and recommended an electrician. I paid for the advice - the service call plus his time. I then had an electrician (not the one he recommended) come out. The electrician said it wasn't an electrical problem. He recommended another local HVAC company. I called them. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it. The tech Bass air sent out said he had 25 years of service. I don't know if he just didn't want to mess with my HVAC system because it was difficult to get to or he just didn't explore more than one or two options for diagnosis. The only thing he did do well was pitch the Bass air maintenance plan. I don't want a maintenance plan from them since they were unable to actually diagnose my problem. Overall, I was disappointed. I paid him for his time and will never recommend the company.

Failed to return call

Called to make a appointment to have heat pump replaced. I was transferred to Sales office and left home and cell number and reason for call. Explained of need to replace entire heat pump unit for home. Never received call but was able to get three other companies to make appointments in a timely manner. Would not recommend them due to this poor quality of customer satisfaction. I have now placed them on my black list for contractors and service reps for the home owners I associate with. First impression is usually a lasting one when it comes to these type of companies.

Not very knowledgable.

When my air conditioner was no longer keeping the house at the desired temp I called Bass. After waiting all day the tech showed up around 6. The first thing he asked was how old the unit was. When I told him 11 years old he said I should replace the entire unit includingthe ducts. he didn't troubleshoot anything. He just added 1 lb of freon and sprayed the fins with cleaner. The next day it quit all together. Had Nathans come out and he isntantly found a bad relay. Replaced it and it works great! All bass wants is to make money, not help you out.

Matt, Eddie, and everyone else who I came in contact with from Bass AC was very helpful. What I think I liked the most was how careful and respectful everyone was during the installation when in my home or out in the yard. They actually cared about making sure everything was left in the exact condition as it was in before they began the job.

The folks at Bass Air were very easy to deal with for the install of the new unit. I dealt with them myself and found them to be very professional and nice. The new unit is much more efficient than the old one.

Great Job from Bass A/C again

From the service department to the install department, it was a pleasure getting my system replaced. Did not want to replace it but also did not want to go through a typical Fayetteville Summer without A/C. Love the lower utility bills also.. Well done to everyone at Bass...
