Provided by YP.comFast, accurate and helpful! I had a lightning strike take out all of my computers and they worked with me to try to recover anything and did the little things to help me work with the insurance company
I’m a certified tech and normally do all my own work, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use Cape Fear if I need work done. Fair pricing, as well. I would probably have them do much of my build/repair in the future unless I was doing it for fun.

I live 2 hours away (Wilmington NC) and ALWAYS take my computers to Cape Fear Computer. In the past I have taken my computer to other places to find none of them seem to be able to help (price, knowledge of products, repair and explaining it to me). One example is I had a problem with an old system and instead of just fixing it and charging me, the computer was older so the repair was more than the value of the computer so they sold me a newer system for basically the same price and that system is still doing extremely well. That was just one thing I appreciate about the guys (honesty). I also have 2 laptops that perform flawless. With that being said, I would recommend them over anyone. 2 hour drive or not. My wife is a student and teacher so they get a lot of use and anytime I have a question they’re willing to help. I have been taking my stuff there over 5 years.” GREAT SERVICE ,GREAT PRICE,GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL”

Provided by YP.comI went to the Geek Squad first, big mistake. My laptop would not charge without holding the plug just right. Geek squad said it would cost $250 to fix and would take up to 6 weeks..are you kidding? 6 weeks without my laptop? that was not an option. I called around to some other Fayetteville computer repair stores to check prices and to find out how long it would take for repairs. I explained that this was my work computer and could not be without it for long. Nobody seemed to care. That was until i called Cape Fear Computers. They promised me that if the broken charger plug hadn't caused any major damage to the motherboard (which he said was possible when the plug shorts out), that they could have it fixed in 2 to 3 days tops. They went above and beyond by going to the back room and coming back with a dis-assembled laptop. He used it to show me what part was actually broken on my laptop and explained how it could have happened, and what it takes to repair it. He then gave me pointers on how to protect it so this wouldn't happen again. I haven't seen this type of service in a long long time. The very next day he called to tell me my computer was ready and that it would cost me $100, the same price he quoted me the day before. WOW! That's $50-$150 cheaper than every other place i called, and it only took 1 day! This wasn'ta fluke either. I was getting fed up with windows vista and returned to get windows 7 installed on my laptop. I dropped it off at 10:00 in the morning and had it back by 4:00 that same day! I've since referred 4 people to them and they all called me to thank me and tell me how happy they were with the service and price. Thanks a lot Cape Fear Computers and keep up the excellent work. I know there's a lot of competition in the area, but with service like yours, you'll be on top in no time! You are already number 1 in my book!! Mike W
